- "WORMINGTON, a parish in the lower division of King-gate hundred, county
Gloucester, 5 miles N. of Winchcombe, and 6 from Evesham, on the Isborne
stream, under the
Cotswold hills. The living is a rectory* in the diocese of Gloucester and
Bristol, value £150. The church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity or to St.
Catherine. S. G. Gist, Esq., of Wormington Grange, is lord of the manor."
