ALLENSMOOR, Herefordshire - Extract from National Gazetteer, 1868

"ALLENSMOOR, (or Allensmore), a parish in the hundred of Webtree, in the county of Hereford, 4 miles to the S.W. of Hereford, and 1½ mile N.W. from Tram Inn railway station. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Hereford, and in the patronage of the bishop. Allensmore Coma is the principal residence. The Wesleyans and Primitive Methodists have chapels here."
