"BARTESTREE, a chapelry in the parish of DORMINGTON, hundred of GREYTREE, county of HEREFORD, 4 miles (E.) from Hereford, containing 57 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, united to the vicarage of Lugwardine, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Hereford, endowed with £200 private benefaction, and £200 royal bounty.
