Bartestree, Herefordshire

Extract from Kelly's Directory of Herefordshire, 1867

BARTESTREE is a chapelry and township in this parish [Ed: Dormington], distant 4 miles E. from Hereford, and about half a mile from Withington station, on the Hereford and Worcester Railway, which line touches an angle of the township. It is intersected by the river Frome, and the Hereford and Ledbury... [Alas, my photocopy ends here.]
