CANON-FROME, Herefordshire - Extract from National Gazetteer, 1868

"CANON-FROME, a parish in the hundred of Radlow, in the county of Hereford, 4 miles to the N.W. of Ledbury, its post town. It is watered by the river Frome. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Hereford, value £220, in the patronage of the Rev. J. Hopton, incumbent."
