"CLEHONGER, a parish in the hundred of WEBTREE, county of HEREFORD, 3 ½ miles (W. S. W.) from Hereford, containing 339 inhabitants. The living is a discharged vicarage, with that of Allensmore, in the peculiar jurisdiction and patronage of the Dean of Hereford, rated in the king's books at £4. 4. 2., and endowed with £200 royal bounty.
