"HOPE-MANSELL, a parish in the hundred of GREYTREE, county of HEREFORD, 5 miles (S. E. by S) from Ross, containing 146 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Hereford, rated in the king's books at £ 6.5., and in the patronage of the Crown. The church is dedicated to St. Michael.
