"KENT-CHURCH, a parish in the hundred of WEBTREE, county of HEREFORD, 13 miles (S. W. by S.) from Hereford, containing 311 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the archdeaconry and diocese of Hereford, rated in the king's books at £10. 12. 3., and in the patronage of the Crown. The church is dedicated to St. Mary, A school here has an endowment of £ 8 per annum. A rail-road runs through the parish."
