Herefordshire Wills

Contacting one of our Contributors

Ideally you will have arrived at this page because you are interested in an abstract of a Will contributed by Michael Faraday to the above collection, and you are hoping to be able to contact him. If you reached here by a search engine or other means, you may wish to explore Herefordshire Probate Records to understand better what this web site is about first.

Contact details for: Michael Faraday - Email:

Additional Notes: If you have found Michael's Wills abstracts useful, you may be interested in his forthcoming publication in hardback - Calendar of Probate and Administration Acts, 1407-1550 in the Consistory Court of the Bishops of Hereford, with an Appendix of Abstracts of Registered-Copy Wills 1552-1581 - to be published by subscription in June, 2009.

This is a revised and considerably augmented edition of the Calendar previously issued on microfiche by the British Record Society, of which he was co-author - Calendar of Probate & Administration Acts, 1407-1541, and Abstracts of Wills, 1541-1581, in the Court Books of the Bishop of Hereford, 1989, 519/1.

Notes:
  1. The above details were correct at the time they were provided to me (originally 24 Mar 2007); however the web is a volatile beast, so please bear in mind the information may no longer be current.

  2. Contact details are provided for acknowledging contributions, and for establishing mutual interest only - please do NOT expect us to provide more general help with your research. In addition, please be aware that the submitter may NOT be researching the families mentioned in the Will, as he or she may have collected it for another purpose entirely - for example, Local History or Population research.

  3. As a precaution against spam-bot "harvesting", all email addresses on my webpages are provided using snippets of Javascript code. Nevertheless they may still attract unsolicited email, or "spam", so some people prefer NOT to make an email address available directly.

  4. If you are not already a contributor, and you have abstracts of Wills of your own to offer, please see contributing to this collection.
