John Mowbray, lord Mowbray, father of Thomas first duke of Norfolk, succeeded to the title of baron Segrave in right of Elizabeth, his wife, daughter of John Segrave third lord Segrave. The title is claimed by the duke of Norfolk and the earl of Berkeley.
John de Vesci. The title became extinct in this family upon the death of William, second lord Vesci, 25 June 1314.
ATON.
Gilbert de Aton succeeded to the title of baron Vesci in right of Margery, his great grandmother, third cousin of John and William de Vesci, lords Vesci.

Thomas de Bromflete succeeded to the title of baron Vesci in right of Anastasia, his wife, daughter of William de Aton lord Vesci. Henry, his son, had summons to parliament by the title of baron Bromflete 24 January 1449, which title became extinct at his death 16 January 1468, and that of lord Vesci descended to the family of Clifford.
Ralph de Basset. The title became extinct in this family upon the death of Ralph, fourth lord Basset of Drayton, 1389.
SHIRLEY.
Thomas Shirley, ancestor to earl Ferrers, married Isabel, daughter and heiress of Ralph Basset third lord Basset; but the title remained dormant in this family. It is in the earl of Leicester.

Marmaduke de Thweng. The title became extinct upon the death of William, second lord Thweng, 1374.
Thomas de Furnival had summons to parliament by the titles of baron Furnival and Lovetot. Thomas, second lord Furnival, succeeded 1318 to the title of lord Verdon in right of Joan, his wife, daughter of Theobald Verdon first lord Verdon. The titles became extinct in this family upon the death of William, fourth lord Furnival, 1382.

Thomas Nevile, son of John, fourth lord Nevile of Raby, had summons to parliament in the reign of king Richard the second by the titles of baron Furnival, Lovetot and Verdon in right of Joan his wife, daughter of William de Furnival, fourth lord Furnival. The titles became extinct in this family 1407, and are claimed by the duke of Norfolk and the earl of Shrewsbury.
