"MIDLEY, a parish in the liberty of Romney-Marsh, lathe of Shepway, county Kent, 2 miles N. of Lydd, and 3 S.W. of New Romney, its post town. It is a small agricultural place, containing only a few farmhouses. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Canterbury, value £129. The church is in ruins."
