The first chapel on Colne Road had a graveyard, the subsequent ones did not.

Church History

They started in 1767 in a preaching house off Windy Bank in Back Market Street known as Back Side.

In 1788 a small Chapel was built at the junction of Colne Lane and West Street off Nailors Croft. This closed in 1826 and the chapel was sold to the Inghamites. This chapel was demolished in 1907.

In 1826 Zion Chapel was built on East Parade, now called Keighley Road. Zion closed in 1882.

In 1883 Trinity opened next to Zion with a Sunday School behind it on Robert Street. In 1907 Trinity chapel was extended.

By 1970 Trinity had become unsafe and so they moved into the sunday school on Robert Street. Trinity was demolished in 1985.
