Church Records

Whilst every effort has been made to record exact details of record office and library holdings you are recommended to check with them before visiting to ensure that they do hold the records and years you wish to examine. Similarly check with transcript publishers to ensure they cover the records and years you require before making a purchase.

Register Transcripts
There is an online transcript of the earliest "Church Book of Tottlebank" 1669-1842, now held at Regents Park Baptist College, Oxford, and which includes registration details covering many of the early members? (There are also a number of references to the former associated congregation at Scroggs, near Broughton-in-Furness, whose chapel was shown as ruined on the earliest Lancashire OS maps from the late 1840s.)
