Church History

It was founded in 1914 and closed before 1974.

One of the early preachers here was George Jeffreys who spent a short time in 1912 - 13 at the Pentecostal Missionary Union Bible College in Preston. This was led by Thomas Myerscough who had been a Methodist Class Leader in Lytham. George Jeffreys subsequently founded the Elim Pentecostal Church in Monaghan, and it is thought he took the name from this mission.
