It was founded in 1847 and closed in 2009.
Whilst every effort has been made to record exact details of record office and library holdings

Original registers
On its closure, the contents of the safe were taken to the Lancashire Record Office which included: burial registers, Sunday school attendance registers, accounts, photographs, church magazines et al. These have now been catalogued and are available for research in the search room there.
