Church History

The Chapel is a grade II listed building and consists of the main chapel building, a courtyard garden, and a school/meeting room.

It was built in 1618 as a Puritan Chapel but by 1662 it was being used by presbyterian dissenters. In 1774 it was in disrepair and was partly rebuilt by its congregation which by then were mainly Unitarians and it has belonged to them ever since.
