Bolton Rd Congregational, Walkden Moor

The church does not have a graveyard.

It was founded in 1878.

In 1972 many Congregational churches joined with the English Presbyterian church to become the United Reformed Church. Walkden Congregational Church did not follow that path and remained Congregational. It then affiliated to the Congregational Federation and has remained affiliated ever since.
