Planned Volumes
As a guide to which registers are likely to become available in the not too distant
future, the following lists are of those which are nearly ready for publication, and those being
transcribed.
The appearance of an entry in any of the lists does not give any guarantee
as to when it will actually be published, the form it will appear, or the order in which volumes may appear.
The following list are under active consideration for publication in the next 12
months. These have provisional volume numbers, which may change and consequently the
order of publication, according to
circumstances:
A number of other registers are being transcribed which are not yet at a stage near
to publication.
- Blackburn, St Mary 1722-1758 entered awaits BT collation
- Broughton in Furness, St Mary 1813-1830 baps and mar's entered without indexing chars or BT
collation, being entered
- Burnley, St Peter 1691-1705 burials only (entered)
- Cartmel BTs privately published - needs collation with PR
- Gressingham, St John 1813-1837+
- Lancaster, St Mary (Priory church) 1786-1812 Bap & Bur
- Leigh, St Mary 1754-1790 entered with BT collation and introduction
- Liverpool St Nicholas 1726-1754/60
- Lowton, St Luke 1733-1837
- Melling in Lonsdale, St Wilfrid1722-1837 being entered
- Newchurch in Rossendale, St Nicholas
1606-1641 (for which no register survives), 1723-1761 (being BT collated) plus BT's
- Over Wyresdale, Christ Church 1714-1813 entered, still awaiting permission to publish
- Salford, Sacred Trinity 1636-1837 CDR intends to start this in 2007/8
- Wigan, All Saints 1710-1812 all entered
There is also a number of other unpublished transcripts belonging to the society which are not listed
above. These are held for us by the Archives Dept., Manchester Central Library.
