- The parish was in the Market Bosworth sub-district of the Market Bosworth Registration District.

- The Anglican parish church here was destroyed by 1848.

Osbaston is a village and a parish which lies 114 miles north of London, just off the road (the A447) between Ibstock and Hinckley. The parish is just south of Barlestone and covers about 1,300 acres.
If you are planning a visit:
- By automobile, take the A447 trunk road north out of Hinckley and cross the B585 arterial. Obastion will be about 2/3 of a mile on the right.
- Just north of Osbaston, just outside of Barlestone, is the Osblaston Toll Gate on the A447 trunk road.
- Ask for a calculation of the distance from Osbaston to another place.
- Osbaston Hall is a large brick manor in the Elizabethan style and was the residence of Miss COPE in 1849.

- This place was a township in the two parishes of Cadeby and Market Bosworth until December, 1866, when it was formed as a Civil Parish.
