Description & Travel

Wigston Parva is a small hamlet and a parish 94 miles north of London and about 4.5 miles south-west of Hinckley. Soar Brooke runs down the west side of the parish and Watling Street, on the south side, separates the parish from Warwickshire. The parish covers just over 400 acres.

The village is too small to appear on most small-scale (large area) maps. If you are planning a visit:

  • By automobile, take the A5 arterial road (Watling Street) south-east out of Hinckley about 5 miles. Just past Smockington take the B4114 north to reach Wigston Parva.
