"BOZEAT, a parish in the hundred of Higham Ferrers, in the county of Northampton, 6 miles to the S. of Wellingborough, its post town. It lies on the confines of Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Peterborough, of the value with the rectory of Strixton consolidated, of £275, in the patronage of Earl Spencer. The church is dedicated to St. Mary.
