It contains the hamlets of Fosters-Booth, Grimscote, and Potcote. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Peterborough, value £467, in the patronage of the Earl of Pomfret. The church, dedicated to St. Luke, is a stone building in the Gothic style of architecture. The Duke of Grafton is lord of the manor."
