"COLD HIGHAM, a parish in the hundred of Towcester, in the county of Northampton, 4 miles N.W. of Towcester, its post town, and 5 from Blisworth railway station. It contains the hamlets of Fosters-Booth, Grimscote, and Potcote. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Peterborough, value £467, in the patronage of the Earl of Pomfret. The church, dedicated to St. Luke, is a stone building in the Gothic style of architecture. The Duke of Grafton is lord of the manor."
