"HARGRAVE, a parish in the hundred of Higham Ferrers, county Northampton, 3½ miles N. W. of Kimbolton, its post town. The parish is of considerable extent, and the inhabitants are principally agriculturists. The tithes have been commuted for land and a money payment under an Act of Enclosure in 1802. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Peterborough, value £300. The church is a small edifice dedicated to All Saints."
