"TEIGH, a parish in the hundred of ALSTOE, county of RUTLAND, 5 miles (N.) from Oakham, containing l78 inhabitants. The living is a rectory, in the arch-deaconry of Northampton, and diocese of Peterborough, rated in the king's books at £14. 2. 11., and in the patronage of the Earl of Harborough.
