"ASHFORD-BOWDLER, a parish in the hundred of Lower Munslow, in the county of Salop, 3 miles to the S.E. of Ludlow. The river Teme runs through it. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of Hereford, value £55, in the patronage of C. Walker, Esq. The chapel is dedicated to St. Andrew.
