"ASHFORD-CARBONELL, a parish in the hundreds of Stottesdon and Munslow, in the county of Salop, 3 miles to the S. of Ludlow. The living is a rectory annexed to the rectory of Little Hereford, in the diocese of Hereford. The church is dedicated to St. Mary."
