" BONINGALE (or BONINGHALL), a parish in the Shiffhall division of the hundred of BRIMSTREE, county of SALOP, 5 miles (S.E.) from Shiffinall, containing 160 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, annexed to the rectory of Stockton, in the archdeaconry of Salop, and diocese of Lichfield and Coventry."
