BONINGALE, Shropshire
"BONINGALE (or Boninghall), a parish in the Shiffnal division of the hundred of Brimstree, in the county of Salop, 5 miles to the S.E. of Shiffnal. It lies on the edge of Staffordshire. The Shrewsbury and Birmingham (North-West) section of the Great Western railway passes near this place. The living is a perpetual curacy annexed to the rectory of Stockton, in the diocese of Lichfield.
