DEUXHILL, Shropshire
"DEUXHILL, a parish in the Chelmarsh division of the hundred of Stottesdon, in the county of Salop, 3½ miles S.W. of Bridgnorth. It is situated on a branch of the Severn, and contains the hamlet of Glazeley. The parish is included within the liberty of the borough of Wenlock. The living is a rectory* in the diocese of Hereford, annexed to the rectory* of Chetton. The church is an old rubble stone structure. The tithes were commuted for a rent-charge of £74 17s., with 17½ acres of glebe. There is a National school for both sexes."
