"HABBERLEY, a parish in the hundred of FORD, county of SALOP, 9 miles (S.W.) from Shrewsbury, containing 151 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Salop, and diocese of Hereford, rated in the king's books at £4. 0. 2., and in the patronage of John Mitton, Esq. The church is dedicated to St. Mary."
