MORETON SAY: Geographical and Historical information from the year 1831.

"MORETON SAY (or MORETON SEA), a parish in the Drayton division of the hundred of BRADFORD (North), county of SALOP, 3 miles (W.) from Drayton in Hales, containing 762 inhabitants. The living is a perpetual curacy, annexed to the rectory of Hodnet, in the archdeaconry of Salop, and diocese of Lichfield and Coventry. The church is dedicated to St. Margaret."
