"TUGFORD, a parish in the hundred of MUNSLOW, county of SALOP, 10 miles (N. N. E.) from Ludlow, con- taining 186 inhabitants. The living is a discharged rectory, in the archdeaconry of Salop, and diocese of1 Hereford, rated in the king's books at £4.13. 4., and in th'e patronage of the Bishop of Hereford. The church is dedicated to St. Catherine."
