"GREAT BRADLEY, a parish in the hundred of Risbridge, in the county of Suffolk, 6 miles to the N.E. of Haverhill, and 8 S. from Newmarket, its post town. The living is a rectory* in the diocese of Ely, of the value of 407, in the patronage of the trustees of the Rev. W. S. P. Wilder. The church, dedicated to St. Mary, was entirely repaired in 1841. A considerable part of the parish belongs to St. John's College, Cambridge.
