Samford Hundred

Samford Hundred comprises the 28 parishes of Belstead, Bentley, Brantham, Burstall, Capel St Mary, Chattisham, Chelmondiston, Copdock, East Bergholt, Erwarton, Freston, Harkstead, Higham, Hintlesham, Holbrook, Holton St Mary, Raydon, Shelly, Shotley, Sproughton, Stratford St Mary, Stutton, Tattingstone, Washbrook, Little Wenham, Great Wenham, Wherstead, and Woolverstone.

Census

1841 Census Kevan Wilding's Samford Hundred site incorporates history, census and genealogy data, family trees, wills, christening and marriage data of the Samford and other Suffolk parishes.

Civil Registration

In 1836 the Samford Registration District comprised the 28 parishes in Samford Hundred. It is divided into two sub-districts, Capel and Holbrook.
