"BADGWORTH, a parish in the hundred of Winterstoke, in the county of Somerset, 2 miles to the S.W. of Axbridge, its post town. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Bath and Wells, value £482, in the patronage of the trustees of Sir C. Mordaunt, Bart. The church is dedicated to St. Cogan."
