"BAWDRIP, a parish in the northern division of the hundred of Petherton, in the county of Somerset, 3 miles to the N.E. of Bridgwater, its post town. The Bristol and Exeter railway runs near the village. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Bath and Wells, of the value of £360, in the patronage of E. Page, Esq.
