"BURROW, (or Burrow Bridge), a tything in the parish of Kingsbury Episcopi, hundred of Kingsbury, in the county of Somerset, 2 miles to the N-W. of South Petherton. It is seated on the banks of the river Parret. A church has been erected here. The living is a perpetual curacy* in the diocese of Bath and Wells, value £95, in the gift of the bishop."
