"COMBE HAY, a parish in the hundred of Wellow, in the county of Somerset, 4 miles S.W. of Bath, its post town. It is situated on a tributary of the river Avon, near the Kennet canal. The living is a rectory* in the diocese of Bath and Wells, value £307, in the patronage of the Hon. H. H. Tracey. The church is a stone edifice. Here are parochial and Sunday schools for both sexes.
