TRANSCRIBER'S NOTES

Please note the early part of the microfiche of the East Coker Burials register (until around 1821) is badly faded, making it almost impossible to read some of the entries. A single ? is used to indicate doubtful letters/digits. [?] indicates more than one interpretation is possible. Notification of errors, omissions, etc, for possible inclusion in updates are therefore very welcome.

There are no burials recorded between 17 November 1877 and 31 January 1885. There is no explanation given for this in the register.
