"EAST LAMBROOK, a chapelry in the parish of Kingsbury Episcopi, county Somerset, 1 mile N. of South Petherton, and 6 S.E. of Langport. It is situated on the river Parrett. The living is a rectory,* value £157, in the patronage of the Dean and Chapter of Wells. The church is dedicated to St. James. There is a place of worship for Independents."
