The living is a rectory in the diocese of Worcester, of the value of £262, in the patronage alternately of the crown and F. Boultbee, Esq. Baxterley Hall is the principal residence. There are several coal mines worked in this parish, the property of W. S. Dugdale, Esq., who resides at Merevale Hall."
