WHICHFORD, Warwickshire
"WHICHFORD, a parish in the hundred of Kineton, county Warwick, 5 miles S.E. of Shipston-on-Stour. It comprises the township of Stourton and the hamlets of Ascott and Whichford. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Worcester, value £625. The church is dedicated to St. Michael. There are two National schools and a Sunday-school. William Timms, Esq., is lord of the manor. The charities comprise seven poors' cottages."
