      lands of the Lord of this mannor by fealtye, suite of courte & yearly
      rent of 13s 4d.

2.    The parson  also payeth yearly to  the Lord of this  mannor for court
      silver of foure tenements belonginge to his personadge 22d.

      for 2000  yeares by  Indenture not shewne  but graunted by  Sir Henry
      Knyvet  Knighte  &  Dame  Elizabeth his  wife  (as  is alledged)  two
      tenements  with the  appurtenances  conteyninge  threescore  acres  &
      paieth 12d.

4.    John  Lewyn (in  the name  of John  Trewe gent)  claymeth to  hold by
      Indenture not  shewed but graunted  by Sir Henry  Knivette Knighte  &
      Dame  Elizabeth his  wife, (as  is alledged)  two tenements,  the one
      called  Wisdomes, the  other Selyes  conteyninge fourescore  and sixe
      acres & payeth yearly 2s.

5.    Thomas Trumplyn claymeth to hold by Indenture not shewed but graunted
      by  Sir  Henry  Knyvet  Knighte &  Dame  Elizabeth  his  wife  (as is
      alledged) for 2000 yeares, one close called Greate Spachnam beinge 35
      acres & payeth yearly 12d.

6.    John Richmond claymeth  to hold by Indenture not shewed  but graunted
      by Sir Henry Knyvet Knight & Dame Elizabeth his wife (as is alledged)
      for  2000 yeares, one  pasture ground  called Hargrove  conteyning 23
      acres,  and  8 acres  in  Glaseland with  the appurtanences  & payeth
      yearly 12d.

      estimation  10 acres with 10 acres of  arable land in the feilds here
      to  the same messuage belonging with all & singuler the appurtenances
      by  copy dated 4th day of April 1st  James of England and of Scotland

      called Webbes Lane as they lye now together conteyninge by estimation

      sell  and dispose  the same  as shall  please them  & all  the fewell

      vertue of a copy dated the affore said 23rd day  of March in the 25th
      yeare  of  Queene  Elizabeth, the  other  moitye  of  the  afforesayd
      tenement  called Harts & of all the house thereunto belonginge (vizt)
      the  easte parte  of  the  sayd  housse with  an  orchard  &  gardyne
      thereunto adioyninge,  and the moitye of  all closes, lands,  medowes
      and  pastures to two houses called Harts and Howells belonginge, that
      is to saye the moitye of foure closes to the said housse called Harts
      adioyninge (vizt) on the east & sourt partes of the said closes & the

      the  appurtenances  in Brinkworth  parcell  of  the demeasnes  called

The Lord of this mannor as in righte  of the same mannor hath the drifte of
the Foreste of Bradon adioyninge thereunto as much thereof as lyeth  within
the parishe of Brinckeworth as often in a yeare as his Bayliffe will dryve.
Tythe of the Forest of Bradon

The Lord  of this mannor hath  in the same free  warren, wayffes, estrayes,
fellons goodes & deadands, to lettes  or lawdayes in the same yearly to  be
holden.

The demesnes of  the mannor of Brinckworth  pay noe tythe to  the Person of
Brinckeworth,  & all  the tenants  of this  mannor have  common  of pasture
throughout the  whole Forest of Bradon  at all tymes of  the yeare, without
styny  & besids  other commons they  have common  in one  grounde calld the
Marshe being two hundred acres or thereabouts.
Demesnes pay no tythe to the Parson of Brinkworth.

The customary  tenants of this mannor  doe pay yearly to the  fermer of the
demesnes  certeine money called  Meadsilver & the Lord  doth receive yearly
10s of the sayd Meadsilver, & diverse of the sayde copyholders doe make the
haye of  one medowe  of the  fermors called Custome  Meade as  appeareth by
theire copyes.

The  customary tenants  of  this manor  doe  pay pannadge  to  the  Lord at
Michelmas yearly, that  is to say for any hogge of a yeare old & upwards 1d
& for a shoote ob., but for a sowe or a bore nothing.

The  Lord of this  mannor hath  certeine woodes parcell of  the sayd mannor
called by  the names of  the Newparke, Oxethicke,  Wickehurste, Woodhall  &
Blackmore  containing by estimation eight hundred  acres, wherein are trees
of greate value to be sold  or otherwise to be shrewded, & thereby to yeeld
a  present &  future benefitte  also to  the Lord,  soeinge in  those parts
fewell now begines  to growe very scante, & the  cuntrye there doth already
hetch coles some 12 myles of or thereabouts for theire necessary fewell.
800 acres of wood.

The  total  somme of  the  yeerlye rents  of the  freetenants, copyholders,
indenture  holders for 2000 yeares & other  tenants of the demesnes of this
mannor & of the courtsilver, meadsilver, hennes & cocks valed as afforesayd
doth amounte unto per annum to the Lord £52 4s 7d.

The yearly  valed of  all the  copyholds indenture holds  (other then  2000
yeares) & of the demesnes if they were all in the Lords hands is, above the
rente £899 16s 4d.
