White Horse Baptism Index

An index of baptisms in some Wiltshire parishes, with over 100,000 baptisms in about 70 parishes around Devizes and the Vale of Pewsey. Many parishes have gaps in the earlier years. This index has been compiled by Father Robert Marsh (address below) and there is a charge for searches. He has transcripts or microfiche of registers from another 40 parishes in the area, and can carry out searches of these.

Searches; 10 entries for 3 pounds (minimum charge), 20 entries for 6 pounds etc. Fee for large searches - negotiable.

Requests held on file for 2 years will be deleted unless renewed..
