"BROUGHTON-HACKETT, a parish in the upper division of the hundred of Pershore, in the county of Worcester, 5 miles to the E. of Worcester. Here are quarries of blue limestone, highly esteemed for building purposes. The living is a rectory* in the diocese of Worcester, worth £73, in the patronage of the lord chancellor. The church is dedicated to St. Leonard. The parochial charities are of trifling value."
