"DORMSTON, a parish in the upper division of the hundred of Pershore, in the county of Worcester, 11 miles E. of Worcester, its post town, and 6 S.E. of Droitwich station. It is situated near Dormston Hill. The parish is of small extent, and the soil a stiff blue clay. The living is a perpetual curacy in the diocese of Worcester, value £53, in the patronage of William Laslett, Esq. The church is a plain stone structure, with tower and three bells."
