HANLEY CHILD, Worcestershire

"HANLEY CHILD, (or Lower Hanley), a chapelry in the parish of Eastham, upper division of the hundred of Doddingtree, county Worcester, 3 miles S. of Eastham, and 4 S.E. of Tenbury, its post town. The village, which is small, is situated near the river Teme. The living is a curacy annexed to the rectory* of Eastham, in the diocese of Hereford. There is no church. The charities produce £1 per annum. Hanley House is situated on the river Teme.
