KNIGHTON-ON-TEME, Worcestershire
"KNIGHTON-ON-TEME, a chapelry in the parish of Lindridge, lower division of the hundred of Oswaldslow, county Worcester, 3 miles N.E. of Tenbury, its post town, and 5 S.W. of Cleobury Mortimer. It is situated on the river Teme and Leominster canal, and contains the hamlet of Newnham. The living is a perpetual curacy* in the diocese of Hereford, value £100, in the patronage of the Vicar of Lindridge. The church is dedicated to St. Michael."
