SHELSLEY WALSH, Worcestershire
"SHELSLEY WALSH, (or Little Shelsley), a parish in the upper division of Doddingtree hundred, county Worcester, half a mile W. of Shelsley-Beauchamp, and 9 miles S.W. of Stourport. It was formerly a seat of the Walshes of Abberley. The land is partly in hop grounds. There is no village, only two or three farmhouses. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Worcester, value £90. The church is dedicated to St. Andrew.
