WESTWOOD PARK, Worcestershire
"WESTWOOD PARK, an extra parochial liberty in the upper division of Halfshire hundred, county Worcester, 1½ mile N.W. of Droitwich. Here was formerly a nunnery dedicated to the Blessed Virgin, founded in the reign of Henry II. Its revenue at the Dissolution was £75 18s. 11d. The site was given by Henry VIII. to J. Packynton, ancestor of the present owner, Sir J. Pakington, Bart."
